Thanks, but I was not really planning on that. Got lots of stuff to keep up with at home. They are just going through a period where all the EA's are getting sick.
Thanks everyone! Interview went very well, felt fine, then got home ready to collapse. Now just need to wait to see what happens.
I hadn't done a proper interview in 20 years prior to my recent one. It was a friendly crowd, but man, I still got pretty stressed. They can't be fun if you are feeling under the weather.
This was my first proper interview in... 10 years? Geez. They were nice as well, but it's awfully distracting trying not to cough + persistent headache.
Skills required: 1. Idle chitchat and small talk: Spend 20 minutes with a canape saucer in one hand and a drink in the other, circulate a room filled with 30 strangers, and at the end of the 20 minutes, have 20 of the 30 tell the host what a nice guy you are. 2. Insincere praise: Have 3x discussion of 3 minutes each with a person in which you nicely tell them that their job performance is pathetic and that they should sign up as advertising poster child for a birth control pill company, with them leaving the conversation thinking they are getting a raise. ;.;.
