I love a nice walk in the rain. Not a golfer so the rain wouldn't bother me. As for the milkshake, find a McDonalds. They may not be the best milkshakes but they are milkshakes, sort of.
That's not a bad idea (I very much enjoy walks in the rain -- I've golfed in rain so hard that you couldn't see more than a few feet in front of you).
Today, we drove 400km (return) just to go shopping for the kids school clothes*. *Actually we could have bought everything here, but we wanted to check out the town out that way, and they had a Wal-Mart and some other good kids clothes stores. Our town is somewhat limited in variety.
Walmart, home of the worlds slowest mortals. I swear their employment applications must include the question "Can you move faster than a crawl." If they answer yes they are automatically disqualified.
I was wondering if that was a phenomenon unique to Canadian Walmarts. Over here there appears to be a plague of disinterested mortals who want nothing but to get you out of their line as quickly as possible.
My main Wal-mart experiences have been generally good, at least with the speed of service once at the cashier. The bigger issue seemed to be the managers failing to staff enough cashiers.
They're pretty efficient here also, but invariably busy - grocery section is a mosh-pit. I like the idea of picking up some groceries and a couple t-shirts or even work-pants in one stop. Parking lot is a carnival. Methinks I complain too much Huge outlets here: Sears, Macy's, JC Penney etc seem relatively quiet and empty. Missing the Big City.
The cashiers are better than other parts of the store. My girlfriend frequently has to stop at the pharmacy. If you can drop off a prescription there and don't have to wait at least 3 hours to get it filled it's a miracle. Usually have to wait in line at least 30 minutes if there is 1 party at the counter and one in front of you. ;~: And I must say I'm not overly impressed with their grocery section, especially their produce. I personally go to Publix unless I have something else to pick up that I have to go to Wallyworld.
Just checked an e-mail address I hadn't opened in years -- HisLeast e-mailed me a bunch of times. Oops :S
Exploring Zuckerberg's evil empire of aching faces. Never wanted to be there, but found it necessary for business related purposes. Primarily advertising, so feel free to tell me I sold my soul. Anyone here who knows my real name is welcome to send a friend request and I might even accept it. I accepted my wife's friend request, unlike the last time I had an account there.
I logged in again with my sister as friend - pulling things together after my mother's death. Then again deleted the account.
I've deleted my account twice. However, in today's day and age, I find its frankly the easiest way to keep up with some business and people. So, I've been with it again fir done time now.
Starting to study a book by Tony Evans on the names of God. Thinking I might make a study series out of it.
No. Still Win 7. I installed 10, but it did not run very well on it for some reason. But this laptop has always been a bit buggy.
I haven't been coming on in a bit because I was having difficulty with some feelings regarding subjects brought up. I still have issues with certain things that burn me up...and I have to take responsibility for dealing with those things. Had a particularly difficult day today and even though I have hope I feel pretty worn around the edges. I do still read and hope to join in some conversations. I am really glad to see MercyChild as I missed her birthday. Happy belated Mercy Child.
It's always good to see you here and to hear from you Scooby. Hopefully I haven't said anything to offend or hurt you. That's never my intention.
