Well duh..... Mr Genius here has a hand held trolley and didn't even think to use it on the radiators. Thanks for the tip.
He's rather slow. He would probably tell you he's being purposeful. I'm sure you've approached him with something he's not dealt with before.
Just being approached by RK is itself something he has probably never dealt with before. RK, just keep your phaser on “stun”.
Yes, and it's why I've not asked questions. Of either party. We'll, in time, receive all the info we need if they deem to make it public. I was referring mostly to RK's wit.
Haven't gotten a reply from the Rookie, but this was just posted in Contro as a closed thread. Virginia Hayes, who was a member of Bibleforums and a former moderator, passed away 2 1/2 years ago. For reasons that are no longer important, Virginia was banned. We have been asked to reevaluate and amend that status, and are happy to do so. To honor her memory and service, and ensure that she is remembered for her contributions to this board, we formally announce her reinstatement as a member in good standing. -The Bibleforums Moderator team
My response in C2M THANK YOU ALL! It means much to me. I could not in good conscience, be reinstated without this happening. Wherever I go Virginia must be by my side.
Cool!! The only thing I find odd is that the thread was posted in Contro rather than in a General subforum. But cool move here just the same.
Seems to be the problem in all arenas-- Humility goes to infinity and beyond. Pride has always been and always will be- the root of selfishness and darkness.
Update: Got an email today from TR saying "Hey, I emailed you this a week ago. Are you interested in responding." To which I responded: Duh, I responded to your email a week ago...
That may be part of my doing. I suggested posting it where it would get the most views, (Such as Contro is quite busy) They apparently don't like to think if they don't have to.
My heating guy came to look at my radiators. It turned out I'd picked the most difficult one. Normally there's some lateral play on the pipes once the nuts are disconnected but this one had almost none. A combination of one guy pulling at the pipe with a 24" pipe wrench and another guy pulling on the radiator finally got it free. The next one just popped out of place. At least I don't feel stupid for overlooking something obvious. Now I just need to figure how to move them. I got myself a dolly that can carry 700lb but it seems like a struggle to tip the smallest radiators (probably 150-200lb) onto it. Maybe I'll put a ratchet strap around it to make sure it goes where I want it and doesn't just tip into the wall.
