You're probably better off ditching the anti-virus and running Microsoft Defender / Security Essentials (whatever they are calling it).
Last night was "dress rehearsal"/tech rehearsal for our concert. Concerts are tonight and tomorrow afternoon.
Just got back from the first seminar in a series: 'The Mystery of the Cross', by N.T. Wright. Wasn't sure what I'd say if I came across him in the hall, but it turns out it happened and we both gave each other a nod.
He seems to be a very genuinely pleasant man. Never met him or seen him in person, but I've read some of his stuff and heard about him from one of our pastors who's interacted with him a few times.
Meant to ask earlier, could you give me a little more information about this program? Mainly if you could tell me where to find it I may be able to find out the rest myself. One complication. Downloading off the internet is very difficult. I still am on dial up.
Everything is fine. Had something stuck in my throat. It was below the windpipe and small enough that it let SMALL amounts of fluid past. The GI Dr. wouldn't call the ER back so they admitted me. Between the relaxing and the medication they gave me it was gone in the morning. They decided to send a scope down anyway. Found I had a Thrush infection, which was why I had been having trouble swallowing pills, etc lately.
Ah, that's quite unfortunate. You can find information on it from here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/security-essentials-download. It's the only anti-virus / anti-malware program I used since AVG bloated itself up, years ago.
Thanks I'll look into it. Webroot came with the computer so for now I'll use it until I make a decision. Had a problem. The security code was covered with a sticker. When I pealed the sticker off part of the security code came with it. :.: Fortunately the Geek Squad at Bust Buy (where I got the computer) was able to recover it so I'll install it soon. And then investigate the other program. I just tried to follow the link and the computer I am on said I am on a computer at the library so that may have something to do with it. I'll try again at home and see if I have any more luck.
Thanks. I'll try that. I haven't had a chance to look at it from home yet anyway. My Juno program came with a pc cleanup program but I have to subscribe to it (about $5 a month I think) debating whether to subscribe or not.
CCLeaner does a good enough job, and is free. And I am preparing for my first class tomorrow: eschatology.
