Excellent. I'm not going to have time this weekend to see it, but it is on the list. Someone gave me the original's director's cut on DVD for my birthday, and it is just so good. Looking forward to the sequel. This weekend is Manuel labor up at the river house, which I desperately need as an alternative universe to this week at work...
Thick smoke & ash from Napa/Sonoma fires - looks like light, dirty snow falling. Very hard on the respiratory. Possible..Probable, arson. 10 dead, 1500 buildings destroyed. (We got our nuts in California). Edit: Family in Montana was worried about my safety, media coverage being so intense and all. Baby sister, especially. Not alone, after all, HaHa.
Terrible. Glad you are safe but I know how the air gets and the ashes. Praying...I had no idea this was happening.
Thanks. Winds have decreased and temps are lower, which will help efforts to contain the multiple blazes. Smoke is even thicker today.
I know how you feel. I live in Spokane, Washington. Not too long ago, there were multiple fires in Washington State, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Canada. The smoke from all those blew our way and it was horrible here.
We had few days of smoke here this summer but we were west of the worst of it. We had one awful day in the central interior of BC where the ask was falling and the visibility was about a 1/4 mile.
Yeah, I couldn’t deal with that. Fortunately, I have a job Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day. Evenings and weekends off. I appreciate it very much.
I have gotten very used to having two to five days off depending on the week. I'm not sure I could work five days strait in a week anymore!

Been researching "Radical Centrism" (again) and have concluded that, for better or worse, I am one. Edit: The term "Radical" is a bit curious, no doubt, but it kinda rolls off the tongue, like "Revolution" did in the 60's.
