I sometimes miss my 1988 Dodge Daytona, 2.2L Turbo, which looked a lot like this one. Darker blue though.

Great car.

I had a 2005 RX8. Great car, but useless in the snow. After almost getting killed in it trying to get home six months after I bought it, I traded it for a truck.

Fastest I have ever ridden or driven was in the RX8, out on a secluded patch of turnpike in north central Oklahoma. I hit 153 mph before it scared me so much I backed off. It wasn't finished.

 

Did the RX7's and '8s both have the rotary engine, or I am thinking of something else.

Burned a little oil but ran like a scalded cat.

Redline was at about 9000 rpm
