I would not consider it a holy relic. More as a proof to a lost world. I believe it will be found intact after the rapture. But the antichrist will probably try and use it to his advantage in the temple somehow.
That's assuming that what? The calling out happens before all that stuff takes place. I know we've been down this road before sir. You know I believe that the order of events is actually spelled out by Jesus in Matthew 24. The Savior was talking to us, His people. And warning us of what we'll see in that horrible time. It's just as possible that box of the Lord will be in our hands. But then again, that's the fodder for another thread.
The Ark is one of the tangible items we had of the Covenant of Law. With Christ as the author of our New Covenant with God, what possible use can be made of the Ark.
Tim and I have an ongoing dispute. I believe that the ark will still have the mighty powers it had in the o.t. times.
I don't think "it" ever had any powers. Although God did a couple things to a few people having to do with the ark, so there's that.
the boat itself didn't have any powers neither it wil. It was just God's will that it flew up and when the storm was over it landed down. Although it hasn't been found yet. Not quit sure about its shape.
Hi Adadullah, it sounds like you are referring to Noah's arc. They are talking about the Ark of the Covenant that was made in Moses' era. Seen in the Harrison Ford movie Raiders of the Lost Ark.
No worries, sometimes I get them confused too. "Ark" just means "a chest or strong box or container built to keep something else safe inside". Noah's Ark = a big closed boat built a long time ago to keep people and animals safe during a great flood Ark of the Covenant = an ornamental box built to keep sacred objects of ancient Jews safe, that was used in temple worship
mmh, It has been a mistory since the very past. Their are many articles written saying it has been found, it was never lost, it is to be find. Can't say anything because i could be wrong.
I think it would be interesting if it was found. It could be a "See, unbelieving world, the Bible isn't a book of made up stories about people, places, and things that didn't really exist" type of thing. Outside of that, not sure what else it would be good for if it was found.
The Talmud says it's buried somewhere under the Temple Mount. Apocrypha says it's buried someplace outside Jerusalem. I do believe it is still in existence, along with Moses's staff, a jar of manna, and ashes from a red heifer, which are all supposedly buried someplace together....
