I have laid down and took a nap. Woke up, looked at the clock and thought it was 8 AM rather than PM and wondered why it was so dark.
I wrote these 'musings' in my first year of being a Christian. God Creates Man With a True Meaning Within a Reality. Man Rejects God and Therefore All Meaning. God Comes to Man to Restore True Meaning. Man Kills God. Man Attempts to Redefine Reality and Therefore Meaning. Man is Left with No True Meaning, Within the Same Reality.
How about different wording. Man kills God Man destroys himself. And man then blames the God whose existence they deny.
Romans 11-8 God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.”
Nobody talks so constantly about God as those who insist that there is no God. -- Heywood Broun US journalist (1888 - 1939)
The evolution believing atheist cannot find God for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman. -- Kent Hovind
I have understood from the first moment of faith that God is existence, and more to the point: He is life. Having only my trusty Android, I'll attempt to expand on this essential topic incrementally while inviting all the input available. The astonishing fact that we can even have this discussion flies in the face of the popular consensus that we are the products of a purely accidental, mechanistic series of events that somehow resulted in this sentient, yearning creature of enquiring reason, traumatized conscience and an inspired, resourceful builder. When a teenager in a state hospital, i was challenged with the notion that true insanity involves either the inability or the refusal to recognize God as Creator, sustainer and ultimate ruler of all things. In this sense, unbelief becomes a mysterious, plaguing phenomenom while simple faith is true sanity. Itch'n for it, I reckon
So much print media attention given lately to these unyeilding and increasingly critical mysteries at the core of quantum physics: 1. The Copenhagen Interpretation of quantum mechanics essentially states that an object in a physical system can simultaneously exist in all possible configurations, but observing the system forces the system to collapse and forces the object into just one of those possible states. (Schrödinger's cat). 2. Quantum entanglement is a physical phenomenon which occurs when pairs or groups of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in ways such that the quantum state of each particle cannot be described independently of the state of the other(s), even when the particles are separated by a large distance—instead, a quantum state must be described for the system as a whole. (Wiki). In the first instance I'm struck by the power of observation - a role of intellect, given, in this case, specifically to humanity - to determine physical reality in the quantum realm, though all outcomes are, thus far, limited to probabilities. This capacity for observation, and it's potential for determining outcomes seems to place man in an exalted, critical position in creation, with the eyesight for both the farthest reaches of the universe and the most infinitesimal regions. Man was created with stupendous dignity and authority. If nothing else, the second phenomenon suggests that the solution to this proven law lies within a shift of paradigm of such magnitude as to render all previously accumilated understanding of the cosmos as relatively prehistoric.
