Wife's eye surgery

My wife is having a laser iridotomy tomorrow to prophylactically treat possible acute angle closure. Should take less than 30 seconds once they get started.

In layman's terms, they are shooting a hole in my wife's eye with a laser to prevent the possibility of one type of glaucoma.

Yeah. Laser. Hole. Eye.

on purpose.

For the not squeamish... I really like it when he says "gush"

 

Wow. I watched it. I consider myself squeamish. I watched it no problem. But I’m not having it done to me. So.....

 

Pretty wild, that's for sure.

 

My sister is planning to have the same procedure done as well. She may even have already had it done.
