Do you think the Ark of The Covenant is still around somewhere to be found? What would be the ramifications if it were? Has it been found already?
A find of that magnitude would probably be highly contentious to begin with, like we saw with the Shroud of Turin. There would probably also be a tug-of-war between Jews and Judeo-Christians as to where it "belongs". Many people will go nuts and buy up fake pieces of it from the internet, probably. Ultimately I reckon, with a temple rebuild being in the works (supposedly) that's where it would end up. Hopefully nobody's face will melt ... I personally think it was probably destroyed/melted down by whoever plundered the temple (Babylon?). God foretold in Jeremiah that the Ark (like the temple) would no longer be needed, because we are His temple and His Presence resides with us, not in a building in a box behind a curtain. Jeremiah 3:16-17 And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days, declares the Lord, they shall no more say, ‘The ark of the covenant of the Lord.’ It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again. At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem
Didn't Indian Jones find it already? Unlike the movie, I think, currently, it's probably just an empty box. If it's even still in tact.
What he said. Though let me comment more. Spiritually no ramifications. Politically - a nightmare. I can't imagine the fights over it.
I could make you one with my new electric compound miter box... But you have to provide the shittim wood...
There is some evidence that hints that it may have dissapeared as early as Solomon's reign. Doesn't Revelation indicate that in the Last Days the sacrificial system will be reinstated? And wouldn't the Ark be needed for that?

They would to have to had borrowed my lathe, planer, drill press, bisquit joiner, table saw, brad gun, and stuff, along with RK's mitre saw.
I think mankind puts to much emphasis on relics likes this now, it is like the world still needs to see things to prove their faith, people have always looked for such things. I mean to me it existed, and it now it is gone, and that's it for me
Yes and I think God probably had it melted down on purpose, because people would just use it for idolatry purposes, given our propensity for these things.
Strangely, no mention of the ark being confiscated or destroyed by the Babylonians. The Apocrypha has Jeremiah hiding it in a cave. Seems to reason the priests et al, would have hidden it.
