Man arrested with 2 stolen lampposts on his car. Aside of that he was drunken, car was not insured, the obliged yearly car inspection was expired, his driver license was taken away, a number of lawsuits are filed against him such as tanking gasoline without paying.
I will tell you when an update becomes available. Best guess is the price for old metal, iron, copper etc.
It looks like he has only one strap over that load. You'd think he'd lose the load, or even roll over, on the first corner he takes.
Interesting and weird. I'd like to know what the reaction at the scrap yard would have been had he made it that far! Any idea how he managed to procure them in the first place?
No idea what the price is for junk aluminum but at that locations the people in that business usually don't ask many questions. Currently it's kind of a fashion here to steal copper from rails of railroad companies, pays much better than aluminum lamp posts are made of. What came in later, he stole them together with a mate, so 2 people were involved in the crime. And that second man (not visible on the photo) in another car pulled the blue car with the lampposts with a rope.
