Hey all, My wife has once again been dealing with severe pain related to her chronic back issues. It's been such that she can't find any comfortable position to be in, therefore sleep is pretty hard to come by. She's taking this week off from work to hopefully get the pain under control. About a month ago, she had an MRI and the technician was very sympathetic of her based on how bad her back looked. It will be a continual battle for the foreseeable future. Thanks.
Sorry to hear about you're wife's back problems and pain. I have an inversion table I can no longer use due to my foot/angel injury. Can you ask the Dr. if inversion would help? It helped me tremendously when I was able to use the table. It's use is more likely to be supported by chiropractors than main stream physicians.
She's tried just about everything, but I can't say I've heard of that one. She has done traction at the physiotherapist's, as well as acupuncture and massage therapy. We're waiting on the specialist but also considering a private clinic if the public system takes too long.
Still about the same. I think some of the drugs are working a bit more effectively now and she's been into work again. She's got an appointment with the spine clinic in Vancouver early next month. We'll see what the specialists say.
My sister suffers from spinal stinosis. My brother faces frequent bouts of lower back going out. A close friend in Oregon has been laid up for 3 years - so far debiliting, swelling between lower vertibrae. I will continue to keep this problem in mind and prayer.
A friend of ours just had surgery on her back to address pain that was proving increasingly unmanageable. She was worried about the surgery but from all accounts it has gone very well. Will keep the two of you in prayer.
So sorry to hear about your wife's back pain. Father, God, I lift teddyv's wife to you. Lord, about all I know to do is ask for Your will and Your help for her. Lord, You are The Healer, and I pray that grace of healing fo her. Be with teddy, also, as I know it isn't easy for him to see her hurting so. Please help the doctors to know if anything can be done to help. Help her to be able to get some sleep and rest, I pray, In Jesus's name. Amen
Not related to her physical needs, but she could certainly have some prayer for a matter at school that she's dealing with right now. It's tough to navigate in a small school when there is so much cross over in family and work. The situation is actually ridiculously dumb, but these ones are just joy-killers.
The little foxes indeed spoil the grapes. Prayers are good for for both mountains and molehills, even when not transpositioned.
