A place called Caird Hall; the local university put on the performance.

    Dani You're probably fine.

Daughters and sons-in-law came over, bearing my granddaughter, so we had some family time. Meeting at church before that, and spent the rest of the evening w/dinner, clean-up and some R&R.

We had another noisy night because of the creature below.

3 months now and (already) 18 kg, heading for 65-70 kg. 1½ kg per week.

Inherited a nest of infant squirrels yesterday - large tree removal.

While I'm making arrangements to bring nest to wildlife rescue, Mama comes and collect each baby and moves them to another tree. She was understandably upset but I think she appreciated my moving the kids to a safe place in the bushes where she could find them before any feral cats did.

Things are back to norbal 8)

For those who don't use metric this "puppy" is currently about 39.5 pounds and expected to get to 143-154 pounds. That is a good sized dog.

Actually (last sunday) he was 46 pounds, temporarily grow sprints of 2.9 and 2.7 kilo a week. Next sunday we expect him to pass the 25 kilo boundary. But the weighting has its limits as every week it becomes harder to lift him up, not the weight yet, but due to his size.

At the time we met his uncle, a colossus of 70+ kilo, kind of having a Shetland pony in the room.

Been reading a pretty interesting book lately titled:

    Obsessive Compulsive Cycling Disorder

Author is very good about writing in a way that wants you to not put the book down.

Hey everyone. I figured it was long past due for me to check in here again. I've been swamped with my first year teaching, but we're into the 4th quarter, so I'm in the home stretch. 3rd round of state testing (or 5th or 6th depending on how you count) is about to start up again, so time for more scheduling headaches with multiple students out of classes and students upset because they're tired of testing (I can't blame them).

How is everyone doing here (I'm sure you've all been saying, but I don't have time to go back and read 6-9 months of forum posts right now)? Anyone changed forum handles that I should know about?

Also, IMINXTC, I saw your thread about the ground-up forum build. How's that going? I'm hoping to give that thread and maybe a few others a looksie here tonight or within the next couple of days.

On a science (since that's kind of my thing), awesome picture from New Horizons of Pluto and Charon today!

Hey, great to hear from you and very glad to hear your teaching career is going well!

Actually, I've been in discussion with mission-board members/associates who are behind the effort and it looks like I'll be setting up the PCs and a new office very soon. There will actually be more than one site - one will specifically revolve around an inner-city outreach with brochure creation etc. And yes, Lord Willing, a new forum with many format ideas coming into view.

It's been a year of transition and running around with work, but things are settling down and a more permanent, central location for the office.

Thanks for asking, and best wishes for the remainder of the year :)

Actually, you've been pretty scarce as well, LT. Still planning on the relocation?

Yes. It's just a matter of when. The original plan was my friend and his wife will relocate there first, then I'll meet them there after they get settled in (say 3-4 months). However, my time frame may change a bit.

I'm dealing with a DUI case in which my DL may be revoked/suspended for a year or have one of those ignition things placed in my car. That being the situation, I may delay my relocation there until my situation is cleared next year. I'm hoping for a reprieve, but the punishment appears to be mandatory. Will know for sure on my next court date in May.
