You must have squenched the Holy Ghost.

I used to get accused of that a lot.

It doesn't stop. Just look at the drivel pumped out by the likes of Joel Osteen and Bill Johnson to see the garbage people will believe.

    Update.
Started the fast (Day 1, Zero Hour) at noon on Sunday, 1/3/21. I finished lunch early (a good salad)
I weighed Sunday night before I went to bed. 198.6 lb

So, finished Day 1 yesterday noon (Monday) . A bit lethargic yesterday, but I attribute that more to getting back to my normal sleep pattern (getting up at 4 a.m. instead of 7:30 a.m. like I did during the two week Christmas break) than to the fast. Generally felt good, no real hunger pains. Just beating a path to the restroom as my body burned up all the glycogen it had stored in the last month from all the carbs I had eaten and dumped the accompanying excess water. Slept like a rock. Weight before I went to bed last night, 195.2 lb.

So, finishing Day 2 today at noon. Woke up at 4 a.m., drove to work. Feeling very good today, mind sharp. No real hunger. Anticipate another fairly significant water weight loss, as from my alertness and general "feeling" should be moving into full blown ketosis today.

Yeah, I'm not the hottest stuff in Pentecostal/charismatic circles, despite having grown up in them. Add in the education, being 'an intellectual', the ASD, and all the other stuff they don't know about, and I'm hitting home runs.

    I hear you.
When the church we went to years ago was trying their hardest to get me "baptized in the Holy Ghost," one guy, who was a true friend even though having their exact same theology, told me that I should just go for it in a prayer meeting. He told me I should just go to the front, take the microphone, and "say whatever the Holy Ghost tells me to say."

I leaned over and told him, "I think the Holy Ghost is telling me to go cast out all the demons of gluttony sitting on the front row."
He lost it, then grabbed my arm and said, "Never mind."

    :D

So, you might deal with a touch of carb-drop, though you are no doubt seasoned in that area.

Interestingly enough, not too much. Today is day three -- Day 3 will end at noon today, and it is now 6:30 a.m. Yesterday was a solid, productive day in the office. No real issues, although I'm still re-adjusting to my 4:00 a.m. wake up after sleeping late for the last 2 weeks.

Stomach was gurgling like mad before I went to sleep last night, but hunger hasn't been bad at all. (Although i confess, I think everyone in the office had something really delicious for lunch yesterday and the smell of toasted brioche and a chinese stir fry was nuts! When you aren't eating, everything smells good.

And there are food advertisements everywhere!

Weight last nigh before I crashed, 193.0 lbs.

BG levels steadily, but slowly, going down. Until they are consistently normalized, however, ketones run a little high, so I need to carefully watch portions, while my daily 4:20 restricted fast continues.
I will likely continue full weekend fasts. which prove effective, until glucose numbers are clearly broken. High glucose numbers impede keto adaption, which basically means suffering - easily chilled, fatigued and general crappiness. Slowly improving,

Slightly increasing protein to balance out ketone levels.

Returning to previous job, which involved 10.5 miles walking per shift and associated labor, is a distinct possibility and should be a boon to the health.

Like a white shark - keep moving or die.

    Yep.

I was cold all day yesterday, too, but from my research, that's a good thing as the adipose fat is being burned off and the increased blood flow internally tends to pull blood from the extremities. So, yes, I'm wearing a sweater in the office today!

Day 4 in the bag at noon today. That's Sunday noon through today (Thursday). Yesterday was another solid, productive day in the office. No real issues, but I did add just a touch of salt to some of the water yesterday, just to keep the electrolytes steady a bit.

No hunger pains, but I am intensely aware of the aroma of food. And you walk out my office building in a walkthrough 12 feet from, wait for it, a great BBQ place. The smoker drives me nuts!

Weight last nigh before I crashed, 191.4 lbs. Although i take my "official" weight before I go to bed, I did weigh this morning before I left for work at 189.6 That would be 9.0 lbs in not quite 4 days.
    Just 10 more to go...

    Wow! Good news indeed!

My high glucose levels are down to an average of 10-20 points above normal which is a dramatic decrease. This also facilitates keto adaptation as it reverses trends toward diabetes.
Frankly, I've never eaten so well as far as both quantity and quality. Whole foods and organics only, and I get to keep my morning coffee. What a relief!

    Fasting continued, for sure.
