    Sorry, but Lucifer as being the “light” in Genesis is a bit of a STRETCH...

    When Lucifer was created, what was his status? Was he viewed favorably in God's eyes?

    Lucifer as the light of Genesis 1 isn't a good hermeneutic.

    The “light” in Genesis was literal light. In the SAME CHAPTER it calls the light “day” and the dark “night.” It’s literal. It’s RIGHT THERE. Saying the light is “Lucifer” is simply trying to make the scripture say something OTHER THAN what it’s BLUNTLY saying.
