The Rookie got back to me. Surprisingly he was quite candid. Although maintaining his position and not naming names, he said there was a certain member that was ruthlessly bashed by certain members of the "camp". Told him I was under no such restrictions and the member in question was Episcipos. And he only received what he dished out. Unfortunately, some of the members were much better at it. Other than that, I told him the only message I would bring back is that he would like to speak to everyone on a one on one basis. Talks are continuing without negativity.
They let a heretic loose with no compunction that was trying to draw the uninformed and innocent into his cult so that they could go live with him in Montreal and be under his headship. And did nothing about it until AFTER they banned us. I find it interesting that they eventually banned him as well, so maybe they should give us some credit for having if not better, then certainly earlier insight into his character. Then, they smacked a couple of us around in public in violation of their own mediation rules. If he wants to talk with me, he'll do it in an open forum where everyone that was around can participate. You might not want to tell him that yet!
If it ever comes up, I'd talk with him by email, but not C2M. But probably with the condition that the discussion is confidential and not shared with other mods. I would trust his judgment, or maybe the Shepherd, but likely none of the others. I would like to be able to fellowship with keck and Slug and several others, but I'm not kissing the Poop's ring and crying mea culpa.
Might I suggest you start with a C2M with the conditions. I think he'd be willing. Although I don't think he's into initiating the conversation, he's willing to respond. Of course since I'm already there, I could simply post your email address with a "contact this person"
I can't log in to anything or post to C2M. Plus, better for him that others not see the conversation! You can certainly give him my email.
Given what I think about Bethel, IHOP and the like I suspect I'd be banned very quickly if I were to go back there.

Just an update without giving away secrets. The Rookie asked what would satisfy me as a reinstatement for Virginia. This was my response. Re: Old account A simple post in Contro ( simply because next to Bible Study, it's the most active) A public announcement. If I were responsible the post would go something like this. Virginia Hayes was a past member of our forum and at times held the position of moderator. Virginia had been banned. The why's and wherefore's aren't important. We've been asked to review those actions and reconsider. We have. We find that her ban was inappropriate. There was human error. Virginia passed away 21/2 yrs ago, but that does nothing to remove our responsibility of admitting guilt, asking forgiveness and reconciliation. We announce that Virginia is reinstated as a member of our forum and may she be remembered as a valued and continuous member.
