Merry Christmas. Yesterday my wife and I were invited by my oldest daughter to have a Christmas dinner. During dinner my youngest 6 year old granddaughter asked me a question, "Why are God, Jesus and Maria so important?" I guess she for the first time understood that Christmas was something else (more) than just a Christmas tree with presents under it. And I blocked, couldn't come up with an answer understandable for a 6 year old. And I suppose my silence took too long and my 12 year old granddaughter said, "Because God made everything". And my 6 year old granddaughter nodded, yes, that made sense to her, the answer satisfied her curiosity. Amazing.
