I disagree. God is the most brilliant mathematician in existence. The level of His intelligence makes us all look like we’re in a mentally vegetative state.
You actually sort of did. You stated you didn’t believe “the universe was born with mathematics in an intrinsic sense.” It had to be, though. God created all the elements that make up the universe. All those elements are made up of certain amounts (which are numbers) of neutrons, protons, electrons. Math certainly was involved in creation.
Maths afford another means of description of the universe. I don't quite see creation ex nihilo as requiring math to be created or being used by God in the process.
If you think of the structure maths describe as analogous to our programming languages, then I think there is an argument to be made there.
Aaron, spend a few dollars wisely and purchase this. It’s worth way more than the price tag in how it will impact your life. https://store.str.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CD105
Well, sure. If God chose to create in a different fashion than how He apparently did choose to create, “math” may not have been neccessary. However, as I have pointed out in a simple example, math, on some level, WAS used.
On a massive level, example - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_constant All these formula's......... All of it came from a tiny hot densed bubble that exploded. It should make every atheist think twice.
