Surviving the last days, will you be stockpiling for the end of the world?

It's a bit tricky when you find that you've now got 14 tons of fresh blood stockpiled in the river, no?

 

To come and steal a stockpile, perhaps?

Seriously though, the whole thing about the exact day and hour being totally unknown doesn't seem to have much bearing on what, if anything, we have to face regarding a tribulation or whatever. Pre-trib works with the thief in the night idea nicely, mid-trib merely means that the thief will visit somewhere around the middle (so we can't figure the first day and then count the days), and post-trib just means you've got several years of doom and gloom before Jesus shows up some time after it's all over.

 

That wouldn't work for me, since I'm one of the two witnesses and have to preach and prophesy and consume people with fire and, you know, stuff.

But what if you get stranded while you are away from Jerusalem and all the Christian airline pilots are raptured (except for Nick Cage) and the planes fly into the ground?

 

Maybe that's what happened at Shanksville. Call up the Truthers!

 

I guess I'd have to preach somewhere else. Maybe I'd take flying lessons from a heathen and fly myself back to Jerusalem. This sort of thing is really something far deeper than mortal men (you know, people who aren't one of the two witnesses) could comprehend.
