Well, that’s good. The other scenario can be “hell on earth.”
Nowadays not much is growing any longer and where it still grows isn't even grey, but pure white!
Your hair is the identical color in this shot-- Great photography IMO.
A couple of years ago I was walking on the street -- and I admit I needed a haircut and a shave -- when a man with a 4-5 year old child passed me and the kid said - Look daddy it's Santa! The man did not know where to look for, mumbled some sort of apology, I grinned back, but inside I felt.....................
Photo just taken yesterday. Our 25th anniversary was May 23rd.
Man, lookit all that long hair. It's like a metal band.
And the girls have long hair, too.
But not as long.
I always thought Joe would look like that.
I was the bass player.
Our guitarist is on the far right.
Our singer (my cousin) is the guy on his knees on the right side.
Our drummer (now my brother-in-Law) is the guy on his knees on the left side.
On the far left is the guy that booked all of our shows.
The girl with our drummer (guy kneeling on the left) is my wife’s sister. She was a Roman Catholic that wasn’t following God. She was dating a married man. Our drummer met her that weekend and they walked together down the aisle in our wedding party. About a month later, our drummer and guitarist led her to the LORD. About 16 months after our wedding, she and our drummer married thus making him my brother-in-Law as we married sisters.
Twenty-five years later, everyone in that photo that was a professing Christian still has a serious walk with the LORD and all are still married to the only person they ever married. God blessed us with great family and friends.
The hair is in a different state of flux. Our drummer was is coming back to visit Illinois next summer. We will have to try to take a group photo. Assuming we do, I will post it. Age is cruel.
A recording of us.
Age is marvelous.
Youth is cruel. And wasted on the temporally challenged.
You look like you could have been in a band like Iron Maiden or something here.
Love those pics Joe.
I gotta see if I can find the pic when a friend of mine put my hair in braids.
At the time of that last photo I was a mechanic. I wore my hair in one fat braid all week long so I wouldn’t roll over my hair on my creeper and get it tangled in the wheels.
Small. At the church I attended at the time. The pastor married us.
Of course, 25 years after (and 20 years after getting divorced), I still ask myself "what on God's green earth was I thinking??". lol
Separate names with a comma.
