Was Judas among those who participated in the Lord's supper?

Just curious. I once heard a former pastor of mine say that Jesus did not do the Lord's Supper with his Apostles until Judas has left. Yet I don't really see it that way in scripture.

    Thoughts?

I am sure he did the foot washing part while Judas was there. And during the meal he offered Judas bread he had dipped in the cup.

I know at some point Jesus does tell him, "what you're about to do go do". But not sure of the timing.

To my recollection it was toward the middle to end of the meal. Shortly after He announced that one of them would betray Him and then gave the bread to Judas. The rest still didn't get what was happening. Some of them, it is reported, thought that Jesus was telling him to go and give something to the poor.

In Luke 22:19-20 he celebrates the Lord's Supper. In verse 21 he says his betrayer is at the table. Seems pretty clear.

19 And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.
21 “But behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Mine on the table.

Even I knew Judas was at the Lord's Supper. How did a pastor get it so wrong?

Pastor? Me? Far from it my friend.
I'm glad you did know about it. I'm going back and challenging things I was taught at my old church, and this happened to be something I was taught so I just wanted input from others.

I once heard a sermon where the pastor preached an hour sermon on the fact that the word 'Christian' is found no where in the Bible, and early believers weren't described as Christians anywhere (so it doesn't matter what we call ourselves, as long as we follow Jesus in our own way). Well...

    Acts 11.26
And when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

Needless to say, I wasn't inclined to go back.

That I did know. Thankfullly. :D

And I wouldn't have gone back either. The only peace I find in all those wasted years in that church, is that they were not wasted at all. They served to remind me how important it is to read my Bible and ask questions, and not believe everything you hear from anyone, even if they call themselves Apostle.

I didn't call you a pastor. You said a pastor you knew claimed Judas didn't partake in the Lord's Supper. I was indicating he was wrong in that assertion.
