Vacation ending. Traveling home.

 

New Year's is in my mind always a calendarial (is that a word?) opportunity for a new beginning of dead or weak areas in our walk with the LORD. It is a time of opportunity and new hope.

Up north the coldest days are always sunny. The clouds serve as insulation. Down here it is a cool rainy day. Like those from time to time

 

Yes, it's a glorious sunny day right now. Unfortunately the sun does not rise until about 9. Then it sets behind the mountain at about 3:30. Oh well, it's just the opposite in the summer with endless twilight.
