Surviving the last days, will you be stockpiling for the end of the world?

    Hi folks!
You know, I believe that the Scripture says that if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we won't HAVE TO worry about "surviving" the Last Days. Actually, there will only be "Last Days" in a technical sense, because when the end of TIME comes, ETERNITY will have begun. Although we will physically die, unless we are alive when that time comes, we will all live FOREVER somewhere, either in Heaven with God or in Hell without Him and only forever flames to remind of all the opportunities we had to have a relationship with God. PLEASE choose the former!

Jesus will have come partly to the earth in the clouds, and we will have risen to meet Him as He comes to take us, His followers home to Heaven with Him. THEN will come the Tribulation, the most horrific occurrence in all recorded time, which everyone should want to avoid! But we WILL avoid it We will be in Heaven with Jesus during earth's most horrible time. Revelation chapters 6-18 give details of that time to come that end up terrifying people and giving them one excuse for not studying the Book of Revelation. (NOTE: I said EXCUSE, not REASON). The End Times for them will be so horrible that no hoarding of food or anything else will be sufficient to matter!
The ones who should worry about surviving the Last Days are the folks who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Read Luke 16, which is NOT a parable but story about a beggar and a rich man who die. The beggar is carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom, a term to describe Paradise or Heaven. The rich man dies and in Hell lifts up His soul in torments, begging Abraham to send someone to warn His 5 brothers to avoid Hell. What is ironic about this story is that the beggar becomes rich in glories of Paradise, while the rich man becomes the beggar, pleading for a way out or Hell. SO sad! Note: he is told that would do not any good, because they wouldn't believe even though someone did rise from the dead to warn them. Don't be like them! Don't refuse to receive the forgiveness and salvation offered to YOU by Jesus Christ.

There's a lot more to the story of the End Times, and the best is yet to come for the believer, says Rev. 19-21! There is great news there! Don't try hoarding physical food for the End Times. Instead, come to the Lords' invitation to His table, actually a wedding feast for His Bride, the Church, those who have received and followed Him. Don't spend eternity in Hell wishing with all your heart that you had made the choice to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

You see, you can do nothing to earn that eternity in Heaven and you can never commit a sin too big for God to forgive, if you'll let Him! I'd far rather avoid all that horrible time of Tribulation that Revelation spends so much of its book trying to guide you to avoid. Jesus died on a cruel cross to forgive YOUR sins, if you ask Him in repentance and faith! If you have never done so, let this be the "End Times" of your going your own way, and do an about face to walk with Jesus, far above all the horrors of the Tribulation! Romans 8:1 tells us that there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus! Are you one of them? I pray so,

If you make that first-time decision to receive Jesus, Parson Tim and I would love to know about it! Share in this forum or E-mail me. I'm at preachwife6@aol.com.
