Would all of you join me in prayer for Kierkegaard? He's got a good dose of the Norovirus. Just chatted with him and he's going to rest to get rid of it, but wants our prayers.

 

Oh wow. Sorry to hear that. will certainly be praying for him.

Thanks everyone, I'm alive again I've been through some rough medical stuff, and I have never felt that bad... It was bad.

Don't do it ! Also, are all the hotel cleaning ladies Mexican with no knowledge of English? I thought it was a media thing, but it's turning into a reality...

Wow. Being from Miami, I'm used to all the Spanish speaking, but Omaha!!!

 

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it either. I thought it was a California or Florida thing, not a midwest thing.

Definitely a thing in Florida. I used to work in hotel's in Orlando, near Disney, and all of our housekeepers were that way.

 

North of the border it tends to be heavily Filipino.

 

I thought it was more Swedish/Scandinavian up in that north end. Ya, shore, ya betcha.

 

I don't think Scandinavian immigration to Canada has been much of a thing since the 1960's. That's when my dad came over (with his family), and I left Canada more-or-less as soon as I could, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
