There are several guys named James in the New Testament. Jesus had 2 apostles that were named James. I know one of them is the brother of John. Is the other James the brother of Jesus? I know there are several references to James the Lord's brother throughout the NT. Is this James also the author of the epistle of James? Is this the James that was part of the Council of Jerusalem? Acts 15
James the less is not usually considered the brother of Jesus. The author of James and the James in Acts 15 is usually considered to be the brother of Jesus.
