It's been snowing continuously here since about 11PM last night. There is 14+ inches on our deck now (not since last night). I mean we expect snow, but this is probably more than all of last winter.
Full trailer-load for the dump. Not quite used, lately, to so much physical labor. Best get accustomed

I hadn't to go up to our river cottage very early one day last week to let some folks in to do some work... Standing on the front porch just about sunrise, listening to the river, watching to mist rise up off the river.... I can't get there full time soon enough...
Making back-up's. About everything here is moving to the internet, hardly anything goes by paper. Regarding administration a hard disk crash now has the same effect as your house going up in flames. It's no more you have lost one needed specific document you can recover asking the company / government, you lose it all in one instance. I am not sure if most people are ready for such a new world, especially the elderly.
Feeling totally odd, now living again in Montana. Little acclimation and I'll get used to it, no doubt. 32 degs F. here is preferable to Cali at any temp. Likely will get on at the sawmill
