I've been surrounded by people shoveling it as fast as they can plenty of times so, yeah I know how they do it. I've never been tempted in the least. The weird thing is that I love all of the things that go in it and on it but the combination has no appeal for me. I don't know, I guess I'm just weird.
Brian, are you just learning that you're weird? I've known that for some time. Us weird people need to stick together.
LOL. Preseason starts Aug 3. The regular season starts Sept 7th. The REAL season starts Sept 10th when the Pittsburgh Steelers destroy...er *Cough* ...I mean play the Cleveland Browns.
I'll never forget the first time my dad shook his head and asked me "Son. Where did I go wrong?" My dad was a lifelong Browns fan and I was wearing, probably, my first Steelers shirt in the house.
You can raise them right, feed them, clothe them, and one day you wake up to a Patriots fan. The horror.
Freezing nearly to death, as kids me and my brother watched our first Browns game at Cleveland Stadium with Dad-- The -0 wind screeching across Lake Erie. I don't remember the game.
I've heard horror stories about how cold that stadium can get. But back in the day it was always sold out and packed every game no matter what. That's dedicated fans right there.
I went through something similar at an Army-Navy game many, many moons ago. My boyfriend at the time had a brother who was going to Annapolis and his parents used to spring for Army-Navy tickets for the whole family every December. It was so cold that I fell asleep and I honestly think it was a physical reaction to my intense misery. I remember my boyfriend's mother getting all offended and telling him I wouldn't be invited the following year because I didn't appreciate it. No, lady, I wasn't unappreciative - I was experiencing hypothermia!
The coldest place in any football stadium, especially if the field is wet and the wind blowing, is down on the field. (Personal experience from when I played in High School)
