One of my hobbies is woodworking and another is piddling around with magnets. I found a toy/mechanism on YouTube that I'm building a gizmo of my own like. Below is that video...

Here is my modified design for the V-Gate using a single stater. It’s a bit sturdier than the original. I haven’t had time to build one yet, but hope to before the summer is over.

Below are the plans. I'm still fine tuning them.

What's even more amazing is the darn thing keeps working on nothing more than the action of the magnetic fields and gravity.

What can you power with one of these?

Nothing really. The concept is just in the gadget stage right now.

Maybe it can power an Iron Man suit.

Not sure that term applies. Sooner or later, friction takes it toll.

    Almost Perpetual Motion Machine.

Actually, what you're saying is quite true. Perpetual motion can't really exist. But near perpetual motion, as a force can. Good Lord willing, sooner or later, someone is going to stumble on the right combination of magnetic flux that will drive a powerful motor that will run until the parts wear out.

Looks like someone came up with a better concept. It's still too weak to drive anything but still works.
