When I click the PCIM forum link from the main parsonscorner site, Chrome brings up the dangerzone page warning. It states that "www.zwiwh.com" may be deceptive.

Not sure what zwiwh has to do with ParsonsCorner, so I thought I'd pass along the intel.

    Dani You're probably fine.

I use Chrome and don't get that message. Interesting ...

I have gotten this message several times. In fact I think I asked about it here before. Very recently it started again on the schools computers. I think I was using Chrome.

ETA: just checked and I did bring this up last March. It was different domain though: "onedollarr.com" or something like that.

I go online from my local library and use Crome all the time. Have seen a warning sign on it from time to time but don't recall getting one from here. Usually from Facebook, or other sites, particularly when I am playing a Facebook game.

Never seen a warning but I'm usually on Safari.

I saw this before, somewhere else.

In that instance, one of the links, in one of the threads in one of the forums was to a site containing that (I think) very same application, which was malicious adware, or a xxx tracking cookie, if memory serves.

    A server scan solved it.

This shouldn't happen anymore as a happy consequence of the new domain, so let us know if it does.

If it does happen again, I'll probably spend the extra few dollars to set us up as https:// security.

Does your host have Let's Encrypt support? If so, SSL would be free.

    I think SSL is active.

Not sure what that means? If 'active' like it's enabled (and configured), then we should be seeing https:// and the 'green padlock' in the URL when visiting. Also, depending on your host, you'd probably be able to get an SSL cert for cheaper from a provider like NameCheap.

You're right. Let me look into it.

Don't forget that adding a SSL to any website requires that the website also have a dedicated IP address.

Hadn't thought about that one Patrick.
